SCHOOL LIGHTINGSchool Lighting The design of school facilities should reflect the demands made upon such facilities by those who use them the most - the students and the teachers. One of the most crucial design elements of a school facility is the lighting. Students and teachers work in a high quality visual environment that stimulates learning while saving energy. They need balanced sources of light so that the eye can comfortably and efficiently see the visual tasks required in varied educational programs. A school's lighting system should use high efficiency lamps and ballasts, optimizes the number of luminaires in each room, incorporates controls that ensure peak system performance and successfully integrates electric lighting and day lighting strategies. Good lighting can enhance pleasant and attractive surroundings, while influencing behaviour in a positive way. Not only does Australian National Lighting look at new ways to improve school lighting, but we also maintain and supply hard to find T12 20W, T12 40W and T12 65W school fluorescent tubes that have been in use, since fluorescent tubes were invented. We have STOCK of them!!!
Do “NOT” believe electricians / electrical wholesalers telling that they do not make these fluorescent tubes anymore, it is just that most importers are no longer bring them in. We here at Australian National Lighting still do and this will certainly save the school money in replacing perfectly good light fittings with new and more expensive ones… |
